Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a part-time, on-call Dishwasher in El Dorado Hills, CA. The role supports dining operations by keeping dishes clean, organized, and sanitized, following safety standards.

Morning shifts (8a-2p) with a varying schedule and on-site work duties include maintaining a safe environment and assisting with kitchen cleanup. The ideal candidate is 18+, has a high school diploma or equivalent, and can pass background and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Prefer six (6) months of experience in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Written and verbal skills to interact with staff, residents and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests required.
• May require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to and from the kitchen, washing and sanitizing.
• Break down kitchen for clean-up and sanitize areas.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.

The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that dishes and utensils are returned to the kitchen, cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored at all times, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes. Clear, wash and sanitize dishes and utensils. Return clean dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas.
• Assist with breaking down the kitchen for clean-up. Perform general clean-up and sanitation clean-up of the dish room, kitchen, dining areas, steam tables, range hoods, sinks, and drains. Empty the trash.
• Respond to resident concerns and complaints in a professional and caring manner.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Prefer six (6) months of experience working in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
