Job summary

Great Western Dining at our [INSERT UNIVERSITY NAME AND LOCATION] is seeking a dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will keep dishes clean, prepare dining areas, and help maintain a smooth daily operation in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have basic food service experience, solid time management, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 25–30 pounds. We value teamwork and commitment to safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Basic experience in food service or dishwashing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.
• Prepare dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
• Unload and store deliveries.
• Sweep and mop floors, especially if items are broken or spilled.
• Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Support other staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.

• Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.

• Unloading and storing deliveries.
