Lifespan is looking for a dedicated sanitation worker for The Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. The position involves performing specific ware-washing duties and maintaining the sanitation of tray-line areas and dish machines. The role is part-time, with evening shifts from 4-8 PM, and aims to ensure food safety and hygiene in patient meals.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and the ability to handle physical tasks. Prior experience in food service is a plus, but not required. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $25.82, depending on experience.
Under the direct supervision of the shift supervisor, performs specific ware-washing duties as assigned for the sanitation/sanitizing of all china, trays, cradles, domes, silverware, carts, etc., used for patient meals. Also, responsible for the sanitation and upkeep of the tray-line area, dish machine and any other related equipment used in the system. Works on tray line as scheduled.
