As a Dishwasher, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment that supports meal service. Responsibilities include ensuring all kitchen items are cleaned and sanitized, maintaining dishwashing areas, and assisting with food service preparation.

Responsibilities for Dishwasher:

• Ensure all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored in accordance with safety and infection control standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishwashing areas, kitchen surfaces, and food service spaces to support a safe and hygienic environment.

• Support kitchen operations by assisting with basic food service preparation tasks as needed.

• Follow all food safety guidelines, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with trash removal, recycling, and general kitchen organization to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

• Work collaboratively with the dietary and culinary team to ensure smooth meal service operations.

• Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisory staff

Qualifications for Dishwasher:

• High school diploma preferred.

• Dishwashing experience required.

• Prior work experience in food service or food preparation is a plus.

• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents served.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and attention to detail.
