Job summary

Ford's Garage in Orlando is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher (Heart of House Hero) to keep our dish room and equipment spotless and ready for service. You will load, wash, and sanitize dishes, stock clean tableware, and support a fast-paced kitchen with a positive team attitude.

Candidates must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate clearly in English. A food/alcohol certification may be required by state law, and reliable transportation is a must.

Qualifications

• Must be able to tolerate significant changes in temperature and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning solutions.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food/alcohol certification if required by state law.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication.
• Must read, write and speak in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dish and work areas, bathrooms, trash cans, floors, and surrounding areas.
• Operate and care for dishwashing machinery safely and according to standards.
• Assist in food prep and other duties as requested.
• Support overall kitchen efficiency and guest experience.

Our Dishwashers are Responsible for:

• Ensuring both our guests and our team members are experiencing our restaurants in the cleanest and safest ways
• Owning the maintenance and cleanliness of dish and work areas, bathrooms, trash cans, floors, parking lots, back dock and kitchen
• Handling and using chemicals and dishwashing machinery according to safety standards
• Assisting in food prep and any other duties as requested
