Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time dishwasher for the 11am–7pm shift, with rotating weekends and holidays. The role involves washing dishes, utensils, and glassware, cleaning equipment and kitchen surfaces, and maintaining a clean dish room.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Able to sit/stand/bend/lift/move during shifts and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle dish and pot washing and general cleaning duties.
• Wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils and glassware for dining room resets.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen per schedules.
• Clean dish room, wash floor mats, drain and clean dishwasher, and shine stainless steel.
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas and related spaces.

Job Description

Schedule: Full-time, 11am - 7pm, rotating weekends and holidays

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• perform necessary responsibility for dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties
• wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for reset of dining room
• clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• clean dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwasher and shining stainless steel.
• sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas and other areas pertaining to kitchen

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• must be self starter
• must be able to communicate in an interdisciplinary team
• must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during working hours
• must be able to lift, and carry up to 30 lbs. and push or pull up to 40 lbs.
