Job summary

Dial Senior Living seeks a dedicated kitchen staff member to operate dishwashers, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and provide exceptional service to our residents. You will contribute to a safe, organized kitchen environment and support culinary staff.

Must be at least 16 years old, with the ability to read and comprehend English. Teamwork, food handling knowledge, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language.

Responsibilities

Operate dishwasher and ensure proper sanitation of kitchenware.
Hand wash kitchen items not suitable for the dishwasher.
Store items in their proper spot and maintain a tidy kitchen.
Notify manager if dish machine malfunctions.
Clean equipment, appliances, and sinks according to schedule.
Support kitchen staff with basic prep and item restock.
Provide customer service to residents for high satisfaction.
Bus tables during and after meals.
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Perform routine preventative cleaning on dish machine.
Other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Operate dishwasher and ensure proper sanitation of kitchenware including dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and trays.
Hand wash kitchen items not suitable for the dishwasher.
Store items in their proper spot and maintain a tidy and organized kitchen.
Notify manager if dish machine malfunctions or requires maintenance.
Clean equipment, appliances, storage area, and sinks according to schedule.
Support kitchen staff with basic prep, item restock, or delivery of clean items when needed.
Provide customer service to residents to allow a high level of resident satisfaction.
Bus tables during and after meals and clear tables when residents are finished eating, as requested.
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment as required by local and state health departments.
Perform routine preventative cleaning on dish machine according to schedule.
Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience And Other Requirements

Must be age 16 or older
Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required

Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.
Working 3-3.75 hours per shift standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit down
