Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, California, seeks a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness by returning dishes to the kitchen, cleaning and sanitizing them, and storing them properly. The role supports the dining operations while upholding the community’s mission and values.

Responsibilities include pre-service setup, transporting and washing dishes, cleaning the dish room and kitchen areas, and assisting with overall clean-up. Teamwork and safety are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (including TB).
• Ability to interact effectively with staff, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to kitchen; wash and sanitize; return to storage.
• Assist with kitchen breakdown and general sanitation cleanup.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional, caring manner.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment per safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.

The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that dishes and utensils are returned to the kitchen, cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored at all times, in accordance with the companys mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes. Clear, wash and sanitize dishes and utensils. Return clean dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas.
• Assist with breaking down the kitchen for clean-up. Perform general clean-up and sanitation clean-up of the dish room, kitchen, dining areas, steam tables, range hoods, sinks, and drains. Empty the trash.
• Respond to resident concerns and complaints in a professional and caring manner.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Prefer six (6) months of experience working in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
