Job summary

Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort is seeking a dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of dishes and the dish pit, with occasional food preparation tasks as directed by supervisors. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, putting away clean ware, keeping dining and dish areas stocked, and assisting with receiving and organizing food products.

No prior experience required; pay ranges from $18.00 to $23.40 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential for hours between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.

• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.
• Wash/sanitize soiled dishes, silverware, glasses, pots/pans and other kitchen utensils/equipment.
• Put away clean dishes, silverware, glasses, pots/pans and other kitchen utensils; making sure they are all in the proper place.
• Maintain supplies to the dining area such as silverware, glassware and dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish pit and other kitchen areas.
• Take trash and cardboard to outside garbage compressors and cardboard bailers, using proper practices when operating the machines.
• Assist with receiving and organizing food products in the kitchen storage areas.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.

Overview

The Dishwashers duties consist of proper cleaning of dishes and kitchen items while maintaining the cleanliness of the dish pit area. Dishwashers will also perform food preparation duties when directed by supervisors.

Pay range: $18.00 - $23.40 per hour

*Shift Differential:Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
