A local restaurant group is seeking a Dishwasher for Scarlet Oak Tavern. You will maintain cleanliness of dishes and kitchen equipment, operate dishwashing machines, and support kitchen staff. Ideal candidates enjoy working in a busier setting and possess good communication skills. Flexibility in scheduling including weekends is required. • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

Description

The Position:

As a Dishwasher at Scarlet Oak Tavern, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and ready for use by the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the dishwashing machine to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Hand-wash dishes, pots, and pans as needed.
• Sort and stack dishes and utensils in appropriate areas for storage.
• Ensure that the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Empty trash and recycling bins as needed.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
• Help with other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
