Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher for the University of Florida campus in Gainesville. You will support food service operations by cleaning ware and maintaining sanitation standards, ensuring a steady flow of serviceware for daily meals and events.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Operate dishwashing machines and manual washing stations per sanitation standards.
• Store clean items properly for reuse and organize.
• Assist with removal of trash, food waste, and recyclables from dish room areas.
• Lift frequently up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
• Attend shifts on time with satisfactory regularity and perform other duties as needed.

What You’ll Do:

As a Dishwasher at Sodexo, you will support food service operations by cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment used in food preparation and service. This role is essential to maintaining a steady flow of clean serviceware and supporting kitchen and service teams during daily operations and events.

Dishwashers work primarily in dish rooms and kitchen support areas and focus on warewashing, sanitation, and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned workstations. Responsibilities may vary based on unit size, service volume, and operational needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate dishwashing machines and manual washing stations in accordance with sanitation standards.
• Ensure clean items are properly stored and organized for reuse.
• Assist with removal of trash, food waste, and recyclables from dish room areas.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
