Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils, ensuring all items are spotless and ready for use.
• Be proactive in troubleshooting and addressing any issues that may arise with dishwashing machines to minimize disruptions.
• Sort dishes and utensils by category, size, shape, or material to maximize cleaning efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down counters and equipment.
• Keep all dishes neatly stored in their designated locations.
• During peak service periods, assist with various kitchen tasks such as food prep or plating to support kitchen efficiency.
• Strictly adhere to health and safety standards, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and wearing protective gear.
• Help prevent the spread of disease through diligent sanitization practices.
• Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management of any shortages to ensure continuous operation.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure clean dishes are available for chefs and servers, supporting a smooth and efficient service.
