Job summary

Freedom Village at Brandywine is hiring a Dishwasher to join our team. Starting at $15.95/hour, you will perform ware-washing, kitchen cleanup and support dining service in a senior living community.

We value a positive attitude and team spirit. Prior food service and senior care experience are preferred, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement through our resident council and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of high school required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards.
• Perform kitchen activities including ware-washing setup, dish washing, pot washing, and general cleaning.
• Assist serving staff with setting tables and clearing tables.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, surfaces and ware-washing areas.
• Know and serve the diets provided per Policy and Procedure.
• Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner to create a positive marketing environment.
• Support driving top-line revenue and occupancy through engaged employees.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Utility Clerk

• Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Perform kitchen activities including: ware-washing system set-up and break down, dish washing, pot washing, general cleaning duties, storing of food and non-food supplies, and prep production.
• Assist serving staff with setting of tables and work station areas as well as clearing tables.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, ware-washing system, and areas in kitchen.
• Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per Policy and Procedure.
• Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
• Minimum completion of high school required
• Experience in food service work preferred
• Experience in working with seniors preferred
