Job summary

Midtown Athletic Club is seeking dishwashers to support our restaurant operations. This role requires 28–40 hours per week across 3–5 shifts, with weekend and holiday availability.

You will maintain cleanliness, operate ware-washing equipment, ensure proper sanitation, and work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

We offer an hourly pay of $18–$20, with opportunities to learn across food, beverage, fitness, and spa services.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the dish room and kitchen.
• Operate ware-washing machinery.
• Ensure all ware is clean and sanitized.
• Scrape and spray ware before washing; dry and store properly.
• Support safe, organized work area and assist with special cleaning tasks.
• Demonstrate clear communication with teammates and guests.

Job Details Midtown is looking for talented dishwashers to enhance our stellar restaurant experience. We are searching for associates who can work 28-40 hours a week (3-5 shifts) and MUST be available weekends and holidays.

What Your Days Will Look Like

• Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation in the dish room and kitchen
• Operating all ware-washing machinery
• Ensuring that all food service and preparation ware is clean and sanitized
• Scraping and spraying all food service ware before it enters the ware-washing machine
• Racking all china and glassware properly according to type and size to avoid breakage
• Separating all food service ware and store properly in designated areas
• Keeping ware-washing area clean and safe; clean work area, drains and machinery at end of shift
• Performing special cleaning projects in kitchen areas as assigned
• Displaying good communication skills when interacting with associates and guests
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
