The Cypress of Charlotte is hiring a full-time Dishwasher to join our hospitality team in Charlotte, NC. The role covers nights, weekends and holidays, with a hands-on kitchen focus on pot and dish washing, cleaning, and stocking supplies.

This position emphasizes teamwork in a resort-style senior living community. Qualified applicants will be 18+, have at least one year of restaurant or senior living experience, and be able to operate dishwashing equipment and communicate in English.

Position Summary

The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dishwasher to join our team. This is a full-time position that includes nights, weekends and holidays. This position is responsible for a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general and deep cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.
• Accept and receive orders under Chef supervision.
• Sets up the dish and pot washing area.
• Prepares for dish washing and washes pots, dishes and utensils.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Empties, sanitizes and maintains all trash containers and carts.

Qualifications

• Must be age 18 years or older.
• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent experience.
• Ability to set up and operate dish washing equipment.
• Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
