Job summary

Golden Acorn Casino | Travel Center is seeking an entry-level dishwashing staff member to ensure clean china, glassware, and silverware for the dining venue. You will stock and continually monitor dining room ware availability while maintaining cleanliness and sanitary standards.

The role requires reading/simple instructions, basic math, and dependable attendance. You will collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to support a smooth, high-standard customer service environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance to standards in scraping, racking, stacking, and washing of dishware, glassware, silverware, and cooking pots, pans, and utensils.
• Keep work area clean and sanitary.
• Assist in maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Work as a team with Food Servers, Utilities, Cooks, Supervisors and others to run a smooth operation.
• Maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
