Not Your Average Joe's, located in Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. Duties include cleaning dishes, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting the Chef with food prep. Ideal candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up dish area and clean dishes throughout the shift.
• Inspect dishes for cleanliness coming out of the machine.
• Maintain a clean work space and help with food prep as needed.

Job description

As a dishwasher for Not Your Average Joe's, you will join our team in serving our guests with unparalleled hospitality to create unforgettable guest and team member experiences every day.

You will set up dish area, clean dishes, glasses and pots and pans throughout the shift. Inspect dishes as they come out of the machine for cleanliness. Stock plates and kitchen supplies.

Maintain a clean work space, mop floors and clean walls. Help the Chef with any food prep or detail cleaning needed. Put orders away and ensure shelves are organized.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Skill and coordination in using kitchen tools and equipment
• Ability to remain standing for an 8-12 hour shift
• Able to tolerate exposure to cold and hot temperatures (below 40F and above 140F) throughout the shift
• Ability to hear, understand, and respond to employees' requests in an aural environment
• Able to tolerate exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
