Responsibilities

• Janitorial duties include trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Assist in delivery of food service trays to customers and maintain sanitation standards.
• Participate in assembly and delivery of patient meals according to procedures.
• Maintain records and participate in educational meetings.

Summary:

Join our Food & Nutrition team and play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and positive experience for our patients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you'll help keep our hospital kitchen and cafeteria running smoothly by supporting meal service, collecting and organizing meal trays and carts, operating dishwashing equipment, and ensuring dishes, utensils, and work areas are clean and ready for use. You'll also help maintain a clean and welcoming environment through routine cleaning and sanitation.

• Maintains department records, reports and files as required.

• Participates in educational meetings/in-services.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Less than high school.

• Less than one year experience in customer service or food service environment.

• Minimal legal age for consideration is 16.
