Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Dishroom Attendant for the East Texas Baptist University location. The role involves supporting kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in production and service areas. You will clean equipment, maintain floors and storage spaces, and assist with basic setup and breakdown tasks as directed.

Varying shifts with open availability; full-time employment. The position requires ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment with appropriate sanitizing agents.
• Restocks supplies like soap and paper towels.
