Job summary

Ralph's American Grill is seeking a dishwasher to join our team. The role includes operating the dish machine to wash soiled dishes, silverware, glasses, and other service ware following company procedures.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The position involves setting up the dish machine, unloading and loading dishes, maintaining sanitation and safety, and assisting with cleaning duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sets up dish machine with clean components (grates, detergent, drying agent, water).
• Separates refuse for garbage can from scraps for disposal.
• Scrapes dishes as needed.
• Pre-rinses dishes and glassware.
• Maintains a steady pace with demand for dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, lexan tubs, etc.
• Operates dish machine with full rack only.
• Participates in additional maintenance and cleaning chores as directed.
• Observes sanitation, safety, breakage, and waste control.
• Follows closing procedures on the break-down of the dish machine.
• Sweeps and mops floor at end of shift.
• Adheres to policies in the associate handbook and department manual.
• Does any other duties requested by management.
