Job summary

American Dining Creations seeks a Dish Room Attendant to support kitchen staff with cleaning, dish washing, restocking, and general janitorial tasks. The role includes washing dishes and appliances, keeping the dish area organized, and ensuring cleanliness throughout shifts in Ferguson, Missouri.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining health and safety standards on a fast-paced kitchen floor. Weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, and utensils using a dish machine and 3-compartment sink.
• Keep designated dish areas clean, organized, and uncluttered.
• Properly store clean dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware and containers.
• Maintain temperatures, water levels, and chemical dilutions for dish machines and sinks.
• Hand-wash specific items such as wooden cutting boards and large pots.
• Keep floors clean and dry throughout the shift.
• Assist in storing food deliveries and organizing dry storage shelves.
• Complete various janitorial tasks including bussing tables, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and box breaks.
• Assist with food preparation and station breakdown/cleanup as needed.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Summary

A Dish Room Attendant at American Dining Creations will primarily support the kitchen staff through various cleaning and janitorial tasks. This all-star kitchen support position will wash dishes and appliances, empty trash receptacles, clean floors, and restock items.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and washes dishes, pots, and utensils with a dish machine and 3-compartment sink.
• Responsible for designated dish areas; keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
• Properly stores clean dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
• Maintains proper temperatures, water levels, and chemical dilutions of dish machines and sinks as needed or as required by business levels.
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate items).
• Maintains clean and dry floors throughout the shift.
• Accurately assists in the timely storing of food deliveries while maintaining the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves.
• Completes various janitorial tasks including bussing tables, emptying trash cans, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes.
• May assist with food preparation and food station breakdown and cleanup.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
