Job summary

Aramark in Auburn, Alabama is seeking a General Utility Worker to help maintain cleanliness of dishes and kitchen areas. You will support the team by keeping equipment in good condition and upholding safety standards, while delivering friendly guest service.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report issues to management.
• Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Ensure security of company assets.
