Job summary

IHOP is seeking a dishwashing/cleaning associate to maintain a clean dining area and assist with food prep as needed. The role requires following SOPs, hotel-style cleanliness, and teamwork with staff to support guest service.

Responsibilities include clearing and resetting tables, washing dishes, stocking supplies, and ensuring restroom cleanliness. No prior experience is required, and IHOP training will be provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Understand oral instructions in English and read English or Spanish to follow supervisors, co-workers, guests, safety labels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables; clean chairs, booths, and floors after guests leave.
• Wash all china, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Follow dish machine and/or sink procedures per IHOP SOP.
• Unload, rotate, and store food, equipment, and supplies as necessary.
• Stock and rotate supplies in service areas and dining room.
• Dispose of trash properly.
• Check restrooms hourly for stocking levels and cleanliness.
• Perform cleaning duties per posted charts and SOP.
• Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards.
