Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on LC-MS experience.
  • Strong background in analytical chemistry and bioanalysis.
  • Experience leading projects in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead LC-MS bioanalytical projects from study design through data reporting

Lead Scientist Discovery Bioanalytics

Join a cutting-edge Discovery Bioanalytical team supporting early-stage drug development.

In this role, you'll lead Fast PK studies that help researchers quickly understand how potential drug candidates behave in the body, directly influencing which compounds advance through the development pipeline.

What You'll Do
  • Lead LC-MS bioanalytical projects from study design through data reporting
  • Oversee sample preparation, method qualification, and biological sample analysis
  • Operate, optimize, and troubleshoot LC-MS instrumentation
  • Review analytical data and ensure high-quality results are delivered on aggressive timelines

  • Prior experience mentoring scientists or providing technical leadership

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.69/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
