Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Environmental Data Management Discipline Leader to advance our environmental data management capabilities, establishing consistent, defensible, and scalable workflows across ESG programs. The role focuses on EQuIS platforms, data validation, and analytics-enabled delivery.

You will provide strategic direction for environmental data platforms, elevate data governance, and collaborate with GIS, analytics, and field teams to drive defensible decision-making and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 7+ years of related experience in environmental data management or equivalent.
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks, SOPs, templates, and guidance documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide national leadership for environmental data management across ESG programs.
• Develop data governance frameworks, SOPs, templates, and guidance documents.
• Lead EQuIS-based data management strategy, database consolidation, and data validation workflows.
• Oversee defensible QA/QC workflows and validation strategies across programs.
• Support project startup with data requirements in scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate analytics integration with dashboards, Power BI, GIS, and reporting tools.
