Job summary

Rocky Top Restoration & RTR Construction in Knoxville, TN seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead restoration and new build projects. You’ll supervise in-house crews, coordinate schedules, and direct subcontractors to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a hands-on leader with five years of construction experience, strong remodeling and general construction knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of professional construction experience.
• Strong background in remodeling, new construction, and general construction practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams with a hands-on leadership style and high integrity.
• Demonstrated multi-tasking skills and a work ethic suited for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate all pre-construction activities and manage in-house crews to ensure a seamless project launch.
• Direct subcontractors and vendors in accordance with the master project schedule to maintain momentum.
• Coordinate daily team schedules and define clear performance objectives to maximize site productivity.
• Manage project logistics by ensuring supplies and materials are ordered and present on-site.
• Oversee project finances, including estimate approvals and total profit/loss responsibility.
• Resolve on-site obstacles by applying practical, outside-the-box thinking to keep projects on track.
• Communicate restoration details to customers with empathy during the recovery process.
