Job summary

40 National Emergency Management and Response in Texas seeks a Deployment Driver/EMR Specialist to support disaster response, training, and logistics operations. You will deploy within 6–12 hours of activation and maintain readiness.

Responsibilities include adhering to policies, loading equipment, coordinating with teams, and ensuring safety. A CDL, clean driving record, and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• CDL training from an accredited program is required.
• Minimum of five years holding a valid driver’s license with a clean record (no more than two moving violations or accidents).
• Ability to obtain and sustain a DOT Qualification File upon request.
• Experience operating heavy equipment for loading/unloading on varied terrains.
• Experience setting up deployment sites, shelters, and mobile command platforms.
• Excellent communication in English and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to EMR policies, procedures manuals, and operations manuals.
• Maintain readiness to deploy within 6–12 hours of activation and update availability in the app monthly.
• Support disaster response, recovery, and incident management activities as needed.
• Assist or supervise deployment logistics, including loading/unloading trucks and equipment.
