Disaster Recovery Specialist – Plano, Texas

We are seeking a Disaster Recovery Specialist to lead our Disaster Recovery and IT resilience program in Plano, Texas. This hybrid role requires on‑site presence at the client site several days per week and only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s disaster recovery and IT resilience program to ensure business continuity during system outages, cyber incidents, natural disasters, or other disruptive events.
• Develop, implement, test, and continuously improve disaster recovery strategies, recovery plans, and operational readiness across critical business and technology environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, application, network, and business stakeholders to establish recovery objectives, coordinate recovery exercises, manage crisis response activities, and ensure regulatory and organizational compliance.
• Provide leadership during disaster recovery events and drive continuous enhancement of recovery capabilities, governance, and resilience standards.

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of Disaster Recovery/Risk Management Experience.

Additional Skills

• Applied knowledge of risk management concepts.
• Strong knowledge of systems and network administration (desktop, server).
• Knowledge and application of Globally Accepted Information Security Principles.
• Strong knowledge of network security relevant to communications and computing environments.
• Thorough knowledge of server and desktop configurations that protect systems from unauthorized access and software invasion.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, GIAC, SSCP or CEH.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay range for U.S. positions: $87,720 – $131,580. Actual compensation depends on experience, technical skills, and qualifications.
• Possible incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
