Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Disaster Recovery Coordinator to support mission-critical government and defense IT services. The role emphasizes DR/COOP planning, testing, and documentation to safeguard national security IT infrastructure.

You will coordinate exercises, analyze recovery capabilities, and ensure readiness across NIPRNet/SIPRNet environments. This position requires 3+ years of DR/BC/COOP experience and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, or COOP roles.
• Current/active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification within 9 months of start is required.
• Experience with DR/COOP planning, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DR/COOP assessment, planning, and execution processes.
• Coordinate and execute all DR/COOP activities including exercises and lessons learned.
• Support COOP planning for new systems and ensure DR requirements are incorporated.
• Lead quarterly testing of alerting and emergency notification procedures.
