Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an Absence Case Manager to handle disability, FMLA and paid family leave claims. You will review medical information, determine eligibility, and adjudicate benefits with accuracy and timely payments in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires knowledge of disability insurance, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with the FINEOS platform. Collaboration with team leads and management will drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Disability/FMLA/PFL claims experience.
• Experience working with FINEOS.
• Knowledge of disability insurance claims, benefits, offsets and medical management practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review claim nuances, eligibility review, and type of claims (intermittent or continuous).
• Review medical information to determine if the claimant is disabled as defined.
• Approve or denial on FMLA claims per guidelines.
• Analyze, approve and authorize assigned claims and determine benefits due for workers' comp and disability offsets.
• Review cases with missing documentation and secure required information.
