Job summary

The IMA Group in Altoona, PA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform independent medical evaluations for disability benefits. This evaluation-only role involves no treatment, no on-call, and no follow-up; you’ll focus on thorough, objective clinical assessments.

Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, reviewing tests, and producing concise medical reports via our digital platform for payer and agency needs. A Pennsylvania NP license and 1+ year of NP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania NP license
• Master’s degree in NP Studies
• At least 1 year of NP experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, PM&R, or orthopedics preferred

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform focused physical examinations
• Review diagnostic testing and medical records
• Document findings in clear, accurate, objective medical reports
• Submit completed evaluations through our digital platform
