Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Directory Services System Administrator to advance our enterprise IT capabilities. You will manage Active Directory services and security configurations, driving reliable authentication and access control for critical systems.

The role requires 5+ years in AD services, PowerShell expertise, and DoD 8140 IAT II compliance. Onsite location and US citizenship are mandatory, with Top Secret/SCI eligibility to support government missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field; experience may substitute education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Active Directory services architecture and management, Group Policy, domain controller management, security configurations, PKI, PowerShell.
• Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and access control methodologies.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Directory Services System Administrator must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Active Directory services architecture and management, Group Policy management, domain controller management, security configurations, AD Schema, PowerShell and PKI.

• Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and access control methodologies.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure/AWS Admin, Azure/AWS Security, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, MCSE)
