The Learning Experience #499 in Papillion, NE, seeks an experienced Child Care Center Director to build and lead a brand-new center from the ground up. You will balance educational quality, people leadership, family engagement, and strong business operations.

Lead a hands-on, early childhood focused team; shape center culture; welcome first families; and grow a successful operation with NE licensing in mind.

Qualifications

• Experience leading licensed childcare or early education programs.
• Proven ability to recruit, coach, and retain staff.
• Understanding of budgeting, payroll, and enrollment metrics.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of teachers and center leaders.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, ratios, health, and safety.
• Ensure Nebraska licensing compliance and center standards.
• Drive enrollment through tours, outreach, and family engagement.
• Manage payroll, labor costs, scheduling, and budgeting.
