Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and execution for all marketplace channels and major e-commerce retailers such as Amazon 1P, Walmart.com, Babylist, and Pottery Barn Kids, ensuring each platform supports the broader omnichannel growth strategy.
- Manage Channel Precision to optimize listings, pricing, and content accuracy across online marketplaces.
- Develop and execute annual sales plans and promotional strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and brand objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements and maintain strong retailer partnerships.
- Identify and pursue new wholesale or e-commerce opportunities within the juvenile product category.
- Work closely with the product development team on strategies of channel differentiation for every new item produced.
Amazon 1P Leadership
- Own Amazon 1P relationship and P&L responsibility, including Joint Business Planning (JBP), demand forecasting, AMS/Advertising strategy, and content optimization.
- Complete the day-to-day needs of Amazon 1P in vendor central.
- Monitor operational metrics and partner with supply chain to ensure availability and profitability.
- Lead channel marketing and product positioning initiatives that strengthen brand presence on Amazon.
Retail Partnerships (Babylist, Pottery Barn Kids, Walmart.com)
- Manage strategic wholesale accounts and specialty e-commerce partners, ensuring differentiated assortments, pricing integrity, and merchandising excellence.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align partner marketing efforts and seasonal campaigns.
- Drive sell-through and inventory health by analyzing weekly sales, traffic, conversion, and content performance.
Analytics & Optimization
- Use data to guide channel strategies—tracking sales trends, margin contribution, consumer insights, and competitive activity.
- Lead ongoing content audits and A/B testing across platforms to maximize conversion and brand storytelling.
- Collaborate with the demand planning team to enhance forecasting processes
- Partner with Finance and Supply Chain on demand planning, promotional forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop a small team (e.g., Marketplace Account Manager, E-Commerce Analyst).
- Foster collaboration across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure seamless consumer experiences.
- Represent the brand in key retail partner meetings and trade discussions.
Required Experience
- Proven experience rapidly scaling up a marketplace or eCommerce business.
- Experience managing digital seller or ecommerce vendor accounts.
- Experience leading and managing an account team to develop strategies and execution plans that achieve defined goals and objectives.
- Understanding of Amazon.com platforms Vendor Central, Vendor Express and Seller Central.
- 5-7 years of relevant management/leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
