Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ leadership experience in warehouse operations and logistics or any combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience with Cal OSHA, Department of Toxic Substances (DTSC), Cal Environmental Protection Agency (CalEPA), fire codes, and managing hazardous waste.
  • Excellent internet navigation required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Execute operational plan to achieve growth targets in Transportation, Warehouse, Outlet, and Retail Donation Centers (RDC).
  • Oversee daily operational efficiency across all departments.
  • Identify and develop new business lines and opportunities for revenue growth and operating income.
  • Drive process improvements and cost savings; evaluate current processes and implement improvements.
  • Ensure Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers at RDCs and Outlet store.
  • Implement general policies established by the VP of Operations and ensure execution.
  • Collaborate with VP of Retail and VP of Aftermarket Goods to ensure correct product flow.
  • Analyze and execute strategic goals and objectives with VP of Operations.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with Team Members and act as Goodwill ambassador.
  • Support change management and contribute to company culture initiatives.

Provides leadership and general management skills for both short and long-term success.
