Job summary

The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) in Connecticut seeks a Director of the Office of Education, Outreach & Enforcement. This full-time hybrid role leads a team focused on public engagement, prosecutorial functions in utility proceedings, and investigations across electric, gas, water, and telecom regulation.

Reporting to senior leadership, the position requires a deep understanding of energy and utility law, cross-functional leadership, and a track record in regulatory operations.

Qualifications

• Nine years of professional experience in energy, environmental, broadband, and/or telecommunications field.
• Considerable knowledge of state and federal environmental, energy, and public utility laws and regulations.
• Experience managing and leading teams and projects with organizational and budget management skills.
• Experience working on utility regulatory issues, energy affordability, and consumer assistance.
• Experience writing technical or legal reports and delivering oral presentations.
• Experience independently managing multiple projects involving docketed proceedings and stakeholder coordination.
