Northeastern University is seeking an Assistant Director of University Recreation - Fitness to lead the design, management, and implementation of a comprehensive fitness program for a 20,000-student Boston population and the global network. The role includes staffing, training, and evaluating Group Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers.

The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree, 2+ years designing or supervising fitness programs, and an active NCCA certification.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years designing or supervising group fitness and/or personal training programs.
• At least 1 NCCA-certified Group Fitness or Personal Training credential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to adapt to in-house systems.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements a comprehensive fitness program including group fitness and personal training.
• Directly supervises the Coordinator of University Recreation - Fitness.
• Assesses effectiveness and satisfaction of fitness programs, services, and facilities.
• Directly manage, implement, and schedule all fitness programming on the Boston campus and the global network.
• Assist in equipment usage monitoring, inspections, risk management, and system checks.
• Provide leadership and supervision for assigned facilities and personnel.
