Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• 4-7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Accounting/Finance/Banking roles preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; financial modeling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting due diligence and prepare underwriting documents.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to facilitate underwriting.
• Detail debt financings and company financials using Excel and Sageworks.
• Perform sensitivity analysis and financial modeling of projected cash flows.
• Draft approval narratives and identify risks and mitigating factors.
• Present underwriting memos to credit committee.
• Support legal documentation drafting and negotiations.
• Facilitate loan closings with commercial loan operations.
• Review financial statements, certificates and borrowing base reports.
• Engage with borrowers' CFOs for qualitative updates.
