Job summary

Centene is seeking a Change Management Leader to drive communications and change initiatives supporting enterprise transformation. In this remote US role, you will partner with leadership to align leadership behaviors with transformation efforts and ensure adoption across functions.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in change management, plus 5+ years in project management or communications; the candidate must be able to operate across a distributed organization and deliver

Responsibilities

• In partnership with leadership, drives strategy to support communications & change management activities which drive enterprise transformation efforts.
• Drives and executes change management strategy via a structured methodology and leads change management activities across multiple functions linked to transformational priorities.
• Excellent at negotiating and building relationships based on trust to influence strategic outcomes.
• Supports planning and implementation of transformational initiatives ensuring leadership buy-in, stakeholder awareness, employee adoption and readiness.
• Works with project teams to integrate change management activities into overall project plans.
• Assists in applying a structured approach to transition individuals, teams, and organizations to achieve sustainable results.
• Drives leadership development and culture across HR Talent and Capabilities portfolio, in partnership with the culture team.
• Maintains a leadership role in the transformation Center of Excellence and uses leading practice methodologies.
• Drives strategic transformational initiatives into actionable plans and supports communication and adoption.
• Performs other duties as assigned and complies with policies.

Job description

Position Purpose:

Enables the strategy and execution of communications and change outcomes as it relates to the successful execution of strategic initiatives in the transformation portfolio. Ensures leadership behaviors and culture are linked to all aspects of transformational change.

Key Details:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.

This is a remote role that can be based anywhere within the continental US.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with leadership, drives strategy to support communications & change management activities (to include Health Plan, Product and Shared Services alignment and partnership) which drive and accelerate enterprise transformation efforts
• Drives and executes change management strategy via a structured methodology, and leads change management activities across multiple functions linked to the transformational priorities
• Excellent at negotiating and building intentionally developed relationships based on trust to craft and influence strategic outcomes
• Supports planning and implementation of transformational initiatives by ensuring leadership buy-in, key stakeholder awareness, employee adoption and overall organizational readiness and effective execution; ensures sustained change
• Works with project teams, and sometimes lead them, to integrate change management (including training development and deployment) activities into overall project plans
• Assists in applying a structured approach to transition individuals, teams, and organizations from current to desired state to achieve improved and sustainable business results
• Drives leadership development, culture & collaboration across the HR Talent and Capabilities portfolio, leveraging and scaling best practices aligned with enterprise strategic pillars and leadership behaviors in close partnership with the culture team and business leaders
• Maintains a leadership role in the transformation Center of Excellence, leveraging a framework of leading practice methodologies and tools aligned to successful execution of change initiatives
• Drives strategic transformational initiatives into actionable plans and support the change and communication of these initiatives to include the adoption of change
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in business, organizational development, communications, or a related field required

Master's Degree preferred:

7+ years of progressively responsible experience in change management required

5+ years of project management experience or communications (or a combination of both) required

Pay Range: $118,400.00 - $219,000.00 per year
