Job summary

Kroll is seeking an experienced professional for its Transaction Advisory Services to lead financial due diligence and related analysis for target companies. The role emphasizes deep financial review, management interviews, and identifying post-acquisition improvements across a collaborative client-focused team.

Ideal candidates bring 8–12+ years in financial due diligence, a relevant degree or MBA, and strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in financial due diligence.
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Economics, Finance or other relevant discipline, or an MBA.
• Experience in a public accounting role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, with focus on Word and Excel.
• Flexibility to travel, as needed.

Responsibilities

Our Transaction Advisory Services practice provides seamless analytical advisory through the deal continuum, from transaction origination to closing.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Analyzing financial and operational results of target company through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management
• Examining historical trends and discussing significant fluctuations and non-recurring items between periods
• Assisting in identifying issues for purchase price reductions, deal restructuring, or deal termination
• Identifying post-acquisition steps to achieve anticipated earnings/cash flow improvements
• Assisting clients in identifying pre- and post-acquisition transaction issues
• Identifying new business opportunities and develop long-term business relationships
• Managing and contributing to complex areas of the report-writing process

Essential Traits

• 8-12+ years of experience in financial due diligence
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Economics, Finance or other relevant discipline, or an MBA
• Experience in a public accounting role
• Demonstrated superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal and client relationships skills
