Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) in Neurology Rare Disease.

This senior, field-based role partners with Marketing and Medical to advance disease education, referral pathways and market development. The TLL builds relationships with national and regional leaders, translating insights into regional plans while ensuring compliance before and after launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced clinical/scientific/public health or business credential preferred.
• Eight years of relevant biopharmaceutical experience, including field marketing, TLL, market development or similar.
• Experience in rare/ultra-rare disease, neurology, neuromuscular disease, genetics, or diagnostics preferred.
• Ability to operate independently and compliantly in a field role without an established franchise.
• Strong clinical and scientific fluency for discussions with senior specialists.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional plans aligned with national strategy and launch priorities.
• Map thought leaders and referral relationships to connect diagnosis, testing, counseling, referral, and treatment across the region.
• Coordinate with MSLs on thought leaders and joint engagements; support field planning and execution.
• Identify and engage qualified advisors and, after approval, promotional faculty as needed.
• Capture aggregate insights from field engagements and translate into regional action.
• Lead engagement with national/regional congresses and advisory boards; ensure compliant interactions.
