Optimum is seeking a Director of Software Test Automation to lead a skilled team and automate testing across broadband, video, mobile, and web platforms. The role focuses on eliminating manual testing, delivering a flawless customer experience, and driving innovation within a Fortune 500 company.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software development and test automation, with strong leadership, cloud experience (GCP/AWS), and CI/CD expertise.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, test automation, and tools.
• Experience with strategy development and execution for test automation.
• Experience managing teams of software developers.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and C# programming languages.
• Experience with Google Cloud or AWS and their capabilities.
• Understanding of software methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

Mansioni

• Lead the creation of our strategy for test automation and software development at Optimum.
• Establish the software testing roadmap to reduce manual tasks.
• Execute on implementing automation testing processes.
• Automate end-to-end testing across all products to 80% coverage.
• Introduce capabilities for effective A/B testing of releases.
• Leverage tools to transform release processes and speed delivery.
• Create a knowledge base for developer tools and processes.
• Define and gain acceptance for key results in the development pipeline.
• Use and customize tools to instrument and monitor systems.
• Prototype and explore architecture and software designs.
• Prioritize and eliminate technical debt.
• Advocate for test automation across the company.
• Own 3+ scrums with accountability for results.
• Support a Developer Friendly Environment at Optimum.
