About The Job

Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the AI2 team to keep it running. Within AI2, the Equipment Supply Chain (ESC) Planning organization transforms phase-level demand signals into high-accuracy equipment supply plans. We leverage Integrated Business Planning and financial stewardship to proactively mitigate capital expenditure and supply constraints, reliably meeting our customers' evolving capacity needs and supporting Google's accelerated global growth.

As Director of ESC Planning, you will be a visionary leader and be responsible for directing a portfolio of strategic, complex programs that accelerate the business impact of Google's global infrastructure. You will lead the organization through a pivot, moving from establishing basic visibility to dynamic transformation and outcome-driven execution. You will manage a high-performing team across Demand Planning, Supply Planning (e.g., Mechanical and Electrical), Capital Expenditure/Operational Expenditure Management, and Integrated Business Planning. This role exhibits positive influence and technical leadership, prioritizing a user-centered development process to increase product utility and user satisfaction.

  • Implement advanced methodologies to increase forecast precision and reduce cycle times.
  • Optimize capital expenditure and operational expenditure flow by implementing hybrid funding models and site-agnostic procurement to remove funding releases from the critical path.
