Zoox is seeking a senior leader to scale its autonomy program by managing 4-5 Technical Product Managers responsible for driving readiness, risk, and roadmap health across driving behavior clusters. Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical product management, ideally in autonomy/robotics or safety-critical software.
• Proven hiring, coaching, and performance-management track record for 4+ reports.
• Ability to distill ambiguity into clear product visions and frameworks.
• Strong strategy and leadership, with cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4-5 Technical Product Managers owning driving behavior clusters.
• Own strategy and prioritization framework for clustering and roadmaps.
• Coach reports on readiness-criteria, metrics design, and escalation handling for cross-cluster trade-offs.
• Establish and monitor portfolio KPIs and readiness metrics across clusters.
• Incorporate rider feedback and field learnings into cluster roadmaps and readiness bars.
• Manage team capacity and reallocate ownership as the cluster map evolves.
• Translate status and trade-offs into data-driven updates for autonomy engineering leadership and executives.
• Foster two-way collaboration with autonomy software engineering, metrics, safety, and user research leaders.
