As a member of the TCDR (Technology, Cyber, Data and Resiliency) team within Capital One’s Retail Risk Office, you will apply your analytical, risk management, and project management skills to support Risk Management Strategy. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s technology risk profile. As a Director, Cyber Risk and Analysis- you will apply expertise on risk best practices to assess current state, identify gaps, and assess tech and cyber risk, threats, and business impact. You will define mitigation strategies, prioritize, negotiate and elevate and implement recommendations. Participate in enabling responsible innovation and in the design and implementation of control programs. You will model deep and hands‑on knowledge of technology and cyber risk assessments, information risk controls, regulatory and internal governance, data analysis metrics and reporting, & customer engagement. Spearhead the integration of advanced tools and agentic AI, driving the modernization and continuous evolution of our risk management frameworks within a rapidly changing digital landscape

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Director, Tech Risk & Analysis
Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Tech Risk & Analysis
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
