Job summary

Invitation Homes LP is seeking a Director of Technology Delivery to lead programs and maintenance delivery in partnership with product and engineering. You will implement agile methodologies, manage resources, and provide governance across the technology delivery portfolio.

This role regularly engages senior tech leadership and executives. The position emphasizes staffing, reporting, risk management, and strategic alignment with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience required.
• Minimum 3+ years in non-project management roles (BA, Product, engineering, testing, etc.).
• Minimum 8+ years' project management or agile lead experience, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Staff, mentor, and grow project managers and agile leads.
• Lead the implementation and improvement of Scrum, Kanban, and governance processes.
• Oversee tools like Jira and Confluence and ensure proper usage.
• Collaborate with tech and business leadership on priorities and delivery.
• Drive delivery of programs and maintenance with engineering and product leaders.
• Ensure work is planned, managed, and tracked with risk/issue management.
• Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies, escalating when needed.
• Review strategy and plans to align with company goals and longer-term objectives.
• Measure team performance and adjust training and structures accordingly.
• Maintain relationships with technology leads, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Support quarterly planning and contract management as requested.
• Maintain project and financial data for reporting and audits.
