Job summary

Molex - ADS seeks a Supply Chain Director to lead and manage supply chain aspects tied to acquisitions, buying, inventory and planning. This role drives integration across entities, ensuring best practices and synergy targets.

The ideal candidate will combine deep supply chain leadership with strong change management and project leadership to align buying, inventory, planning, GSOP and supplier networks during and after integration initiatives. Travel up to 60% may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, including significant exposure to M&A or business integration projects.
  • Proven track record leading supply chain integration in complex organizational changes.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee & Manage integration of supply chain operations across newly acquired entities, aligned with integration strategies (seamless alignment of processes, systems, and talent)
  • Lead cross-functional transformation programs to harmonize supply chain processes, systems, and teams across merging or acquired entities.
  • Define integration roadmaps, milestones, and KPIs to measure progress and success.
  • Drive alignment with GSOP&E initiatives to elevate supply chain best practices across site teams.
  • Drive end-to-end supply chain optimization across buying, inventory management, planning, logistics, and supplier collaboration during integration.
  • Collaborate with site leaders to identify and capture supply chain synergies, cost savings, and improvements.
  • Partner with manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruption during integration.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support cultural and process alignment within supply chain functions.
  • Oversee integration of supply chain technologies, ERP systems, and data platforms; utilize analytics to monitor performance.

Molex - ADS is seeking an accomplished Supply Chain Director - to lead and manage the supply chain aspects tied to acquisitions, buying, inventory and planning. This critical role will drive seamless integration of supply chain functions across entities, ensuring continuity, consistent best practices, operational excellence, and realization of synergy targets.

The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in supply chain management with strong change management and project leadership skills to successfully align the manufacturing sites buying, inventory, planning, GSOP and supplier networks during and after integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integration Strategy & Leadership:
  • Oversee & Manage integration of supply chain operations across newly acquired entities, aligned with integration strategies (seamless alignment of processes, systems, and talent)
  • Lead cross-functional team transformation programs to harmonize supply chain processes, systems, and teams across merging or acquired entities.
  • Define integration roadmaps, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success.
  • Drive alignment with GSOP&E initiatives and strategies to continuously elevate supply chain best practices across site teams
  • Operational Alignment:
  • Drive end-to-end supply chain optimization - Work with site leaders and teams to align buying, inventory management, planning logistics, risk through advanced planning, supplier collaboration and GSOP to optimize cost, service levels, and risk mitigation during and after integration.
  • Collaborate with site leaders and teams to identify and capture supply chain synergies, cost savings, and operational improvements.
  • Partner with manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruption throughout and after the integration period.
  • Change Management & Communication:
  • Drive change management initiatives to support cultural and process alignment within supply chain functions.
  • Act as a liaison between sites and executive leadership, providing regular updates and facilitating decision-making.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and foster collaboration between legacy and new teams.
  • Risk & Compliance Management:
  • Identify supply chain risks related to integration and any other future risks by developing mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry standards during integration activities.
  • Technology & Systems Integration:
  • Collaborate and be part of team that oversee integration of supply chain technologies, ERP systems, and data platforms.
  • Leverage data analytics to monitor supply chain performance and identify integration opportunities.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop material managers, site leaders and their staff during and after integration efforts.
  • Build a high-performing, agile supply chain organization capable of supporting post-integration growth.
  • Lead change management and organizational development initiatives that promote engagement and adaptability during integration and longer-term transformation.

Additional Information
  • Reporting To: Vice President of Operations.
  • Travel: Up to 60%, depending on integration efforts and other project scope needs after integration.

For this role, we anticipate paying $125,000 - $200,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
