UCI Health is seeking an experienced materials management coordinator to oversee procurement, processing, and distribution of supplies across the medical center. You will optimize systems, analyze data, and ensure compliance while managing staff and departmental goals.

Incumbent is responsible for coordinating the materials management system throughout the medical center or health system, with regards to procurement, processing, and distribution of materials and services. Ensures the efficient and cost‑effective acquisition of equipment and supplies throughout the organization. Manages operations of a materials management unit, implementing systems, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance. Manages staff using materials management techniques to maintain supplies, establishes departmental goals and objectives, functions with autonomy, and manages the accountability and stewardship of human, financial, and often physical resources in compliance with departmental and organizational goals. Ensures subordinate supervisors and professionals adhere to defined internal controls and protects departmental assets through systems and procedures.
