Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is seeking a Director of Supply-Chain Engineering & Facilities Design Consulting to lead client development and deliver optimized facility designs for manufacturing and distribution. You will work with industry leaders to align design with operational goals, overseeing FEED, planning, and capital project execution across GMP environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in AEC consulting leading concept design, FEED, and early-phase planning for manufacturing and distribution facilities.
• Experience growing client relationships across local, regional, and national markets within a multi-discipline A/E environment.
• Proven FEED leadership within FEL frameworks (FEL-1/2/3) with cost estimating and design scoping.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (cGMP, FDA) and environmental classifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development across GMP-regulated manufacturing, life sciences, and food & beverage clients, cultivating executive relations.
• Lead complex engagements across supply chain, warehousing, and industrial manufacturing from concept through delivery.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams in facility design and capital projects supporting sourcing, production, storage, and distribution.
• Lead FEED and Early-Phase Planning deliverables to support capital authorization decisions (FID/AFE).
• Guide integrated solutions combining engineering design, operational planning, and capital investment strategy.
• Mentor internal staff and help develop best practices in supply chain facility design.
