Qualifications

• 15 years of experience ideally in Semiconductor industry.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Systems.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional team management.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, direction and strategy development and makes final administrative or operational decisions within level of authority.
• Lead cross functional teams to support supplier engineering objectives and ensure sourcing decision is consistent with overall strategy.
• Set and drive clear goals for cost savings, value creation and vendor performance in context of business unit operating plan.
• Maintain effective relationships with key internal customers and support organizations.
• Work with cross functional departments to develop cost reduction and avoidance initiatives and supply base improvement projects.
• Evaluate, qualify, & select suppliers.
• Understand framework and help executing to AOP.
• Maintain continuous awareness of ongoing vendor performance in assigned commodity/service areas.
• Participate in problem resolution/escalation arising from vendor performance issues for assigned commodities and services.
